Mid & North Wales Training Group Ltd and its operations are required to address the General Data Protection Regulations 2018, regarding the holding of data, which will include individuals’ names and other personal information.  This personal information is needed to allow the company to operate and provide its services and products within the scope of its business.  The company takes privacy very seriously, and this Privacy Policy contains important information on why and how we collect, store and share information.  It also explains rights in relation to personal information.  When we collect and use information about individuals we are responsible as the controller of that information, and need to abide by the purposes of the regulations in place.

  • Registering individuals with Awarding and Certification Organisations

  • Checking with employers (in the case of employees) for employment details

  • Registering individuals on Welsh Government training programmes

  • Registering individuals with partner organisations such as colleges of further education

 

How the data will be used

The company will use this information for the purposes of

  • To comply with legal and regulatory obligations

  • To perform to contracts of delivery to individuals

  • To satisfy requirements of Welsh Government and other funding bodies

  • To satisfy requirements for courses criteria

  • To satisfy Lead and Awarding Organisation requirements

  • For administration purposes, to ensure data is stored correctly, securely and to a high standard of quality

  • To enable Myrick Training Services to measure and compare performance

  • A unique learner identifier (created by Welsh Government)

  • A learner identifier number (created by Myrick Training Services)

  • National Insurance Number

  • Gender

  • Surname at 16

  • Data of birth

  • National identity

  • Last school you attended

  • The year you left school

  • A Unique Learner Number
