Nick Jones
Engineering and Courses Manager

Qualified to degree level in Mechanical Engineering and holding both a PGCE teaching and an Assessor Award, I am responsible for overseeing engineering programme delivery, financial planning, and the management of short-course provision, while also playing a key role in the overall running of Myrick.

My experience includes working for local engineering companies, which has provided me with valuable industry knowledge and practical expertise. This enables me to combine technical skills with education and training, with my commitment to supporting the delivery of high-quality training programmes and apprenticeships that meet the needs of learners and employers.

Sue Evans
Work-Based Learning and Office Team Leader

I am an experienced Work-Based Learning Administrator with a key role in supporting the delivery of work-based learning programmes. I manage data and documentation effectively, ensuring records are accurate, organised, and maintained efficiently. I also provide administrative support to the team and serve as a main point of contact for customer enquiries, offering a professional, responsive, and customer-focused service to learners, employers, and other stakeholders.

Andy Ellis
Work-Based Learning Manager

I am currently Myrick’s WBL Manager, responsible for compliance across all apprenticeship and commercial courses. This role builds on around 25 years of experience in work-based learning and my own background as a time-served engineering apprentice, which continues to drive my passion for apprenticeships and the opportunities they provide for learners to fulfil their potential.

Brandon Baynham
Engineering Assessor & Trainer  

Experienced across a range of engineering disciplines, gained through many years of working with local engineering companies. I currently deliver engineering frameworks in a variety of engineering fields and am committed to maintaining high standards of assessment and learner support. I am passionate about teaching, learning, and skill development and have experience supporting learners across different sectors, helping them achieve their professional and educational goals.

Nathan Williams
Engineering Assessor

Having achieved my Assessor qualification, I now deliver engineering apprenticeships, supporting learners throughout their development and career progression. With extensive experience in manufacturing engineering and hands-on expertise in manual machining using lathes and milling machines, supported by strong skills in CAD and process improvement. I am passionate about developing the next generation of engineers mentoring apprentices and helping them build practical engineering skills and maintain high professional standards in the workplace.

I am committed to continuous professional development and continue to enhance my technical knowledge through ongoing study with the Open University.

Assessor for ILM Leadership & Management courses

I have many years of experience in senior leadership roles within manufacturing organisations, supported by a Master's Degree in Management, a Degree in Chemistry, and an ILM Level 7 qualification in Coaching and Mentoring.

As Managing Director of UP4Coaching Ltd, I deliver professional coaching, assessment, and bespoke training solutions across leadership, management, operations, continuous improvement, and sales. Drawing on many years of practical industry experience, I combine strategic leadership expertise with a strong understanding of operational excellence and organisational development.

Katrina Rowson
Courses Administrator & ESW Assessor

I play a vital role in ensuring the smooth delivery of commercial training courses. I am often the first point of contact for enquiries, providing a professional, knowledgeable, and welcoming service to prospective customers. I am also responsible for invigilating and assessing Essential Skills tasks, ensuring that all tasks are conducted in accordance with awarding body regulations and assessment procedures.

Highly knowledgeable First Aid Trainer. Responsible for delivery of all First Aid and Manual Handling courses.
