Please be aware that the Welsh Government is proposing to cut apprenticeship funding by 24.5% in the next financial year that commences on 1st August 2024.

This is on top of a £17.5million reduction that has already taken effect in this current year’s funding.

The Welsh Government has launched its new Economic Mission, with an emphasis on supporting key sectors to grow and prioritising young people. At the same time significant cuts are expected to be made to the flagship apprenticeship programme, which will cut off opportunities for thousands of young people across Wales and risk new business investment
