Merlin Smout Named Delivery Partner Learner of the Year 2025

Merlin has demonstrated exceptional dedication throughout his four-year journey with Myrick Training Services, progressing from Level 2 in Performance Manufacturing Operations to Level 3 in Engineering Technical Support, while also achieving his Level 2 Application of Number Essential Skills.

Currently employed at Invertek Drives as a service technician, Merlin makes valuable daily contributions to repairs alongside his skilled team. What makes his achievement even more remarkable is his ability to balance these professional responsibilities with the demands of fatherhood.

Merlin continues to pursue growth in his field and is now undertaking a day-release HNC in Engineering. His commitment to continuous improvement and professional development exemplifies the values we celebrate at Coleg Cambria.
