Course Objectives

To train course delegates in accordance with the Schedule of Training laid down in the Abrasive Wheels Regulations 1970, PUWER 98 and HSG17.

Who will benefit?

Those required to mount Abrasive Wheels and those needing familiarisation with the new Regulations and Guidance

Course Content:

History of the Abrasive Wheels Regulations PUWER 98 HSG17 Legal Requirements Hazards arising from the use of Abrasive Wheels Methods of marking, storing, handling and transporting DVD and Practical demonstration of methods of: -

  • Inspection

  • Mounting

  • Testing

  • Dressing

  • Adjustment

  • Dust control

Duration: Half Day– 9am to 1.00 pm approximately

Venue: Myrick House, Hendomen, Montgomery, Powys SY15 6EZ
